Electric Operations Department OverviewThe men and women of Electric Operations ensure the delivery of clean, safe, reliable, and affordable energy to nearly 16 million people in Northern and Central California.
Electric Operations is responsible for every aspect of PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration, and emergency response.

Summary:
The Business Performance Analyst analyzes processes and utilizes six sigma techniques to develop and recommend operational process improvements.
He/She manages cross functional teams and partners with peers and leaders on process change implementation and ongoing measurement.
The incumbent may own ongoing process management or administration.
The incumbent also provides business analytics information, including research, data analysis, metric implementation, forecasting, and reporting in support of business decision making, strategy and operations.

Responsibilities:
Completes complex data analysis and reporting by creating, running, and automating database queries and reports.
Monitors and ensures accurate data feeds from multiple sourcesDrives continuous process improvement and manages complex technology and data process improvements and projects.
Develops and tracks metrics that provide data for process measurement, business operations or risk assessment and present findings to leadership.
Leads multiple complex process improvement projects by carrying out various project tasks such as process mapping, data collection, data analysis, metrics analysis, root cause analysis, documentation.
Works on complex problems having broad impact that require in depth analysis and judgment to obtain results or solutions.
Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced colleaguesResponsible for backing up leadership team when necessary QualificationsMinimum:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceTen (10) years of relevant business, operational, financial or process improvement experienceExperience with MS Power AppsExperience with HTML (Helpful)Experience with SQL Desired:
Strong knowledge of Standards and Procedures applicable to Finance and Project Management programs and processes.
Ability to influence leaders and collaborate inside and outside of the department.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Project management proficiency with large scale projects and applying project management theories, concepts, methods, best practices, and techniques as needed to perform at the jobStrong business/financial acumen.
A passion and curiosity for data and data-driven decision makingAdvanced problem solving and data analysis skillsDepth and breadth of knowledge of process improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma.
Advanced understanding in performance measurement, PI development, and benchmarkingRisk Management and Earned Value Analysis experienceExperience with software tools such as SAP Business Warehouse & Financials, SAP Work Management, BPC Planning Orders and Broad work (BW).
Advanced in software applications Microsoft Office products, Excel, Word, Teams and Power BI, P6 database Highly independent with a proven track record for success, who is capable of leading projects with little to no supervision.
Electric Operations knowledge.
Ability to develop and coach others to promote teamwork and achieve business goals.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
